Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your interest in and suggestions for Engauge. Development isn't very active for a while now, so don't hold your breath. But contributed improvements can be included quite timely.
Responding to your proposed enhancements:
1. While it seems quite easy to integrate libtiff, the code now uses generic qt methods to read the images. That is a neat approach and there will be...

Hi Lawrence,
thanks for your interest in engauge. Unfortunately you are right, there is no MacOS binary release of 4.1. You should be able to find the necessary tool chain in the Fink project, but without a Mac it is hard to test. For slightly more info see:

I just noticed that the engauge website is somewhat broken. I'll try and fix this soon.
However it had a section on Platforms you can currently only view the contents here: http://digitizer.sourceforge.net/content5.php
It basically mentiones the Fink projects but also http://naranja.umh.es/~atg/ where you can find a MacOS build of engauge 4.0. It is not the latest version, but all we can...

Hi Kenneth,
I see where you are coming from, but we'd like to keep it simple. The comparison between your digitised data and the calculated set can better be done outside of engauge in your favourite plotting program. This will offer all the benefits like various display options and output in production quality if you want to. I agree engauge would also display the original image in the right...

I am afraid I do not know of a trusted binary and I don't have a macos machine available to help you out. The fink project has source packages, so it should be relatively painless to use their tool chain if you are trying to compile yourself.
Thanks for using engauge,
Tobias.

When saving a .py file with JyDT active in Eclipse 3.3.2 I get a 'Save Failed\nReason java.lang.NullPointerException' message.
Luckily the save succeeded nevertheless.

Block commenting is quite handy, so I use it a lot.
In the Eclipse Java editor however block comments are removed when hitting CTRL-/ and the block is already commented out. So for Java there is no CTRL-\ key binding. I would like that simple behaviour in JyDT too.
As a second note: When you then try to get rid of the Block quote by 'Undo Typing' CTRL-Z it only removes one # at a time, just...
