I just commited two changes to sopranocmd which hopefully fix the latter two issues. As for the first one I suspect it is a problem with the qobject_cast macro. But I don't know how to solve that yet.

Thanks a lot. I will apply the patch but would ask you to please fix a few minor things first:
- no tabs are allowed. Please use 4 spaces for indentation.
- please use a new line for each initialization in constructors.
