I just realized that XChat supports only returning the number of CPUs. Please ignore that part of the bug report.

XChat doesn't report CPU information under NetBSD as it does under Linux or Mac OS X. The attached patch fixes that:

There are however some issues with the patch:
1.) XChat assumes that platforms get report both
the number of CPUs and the clock frequency.
NetBSD can report the number of CPUs on all
platforms but...

The hostname "ipv6.chat.eu.freenode.net" resolves to multiple IPv6 addresses:
ipv6.chat.eu.freenode.net has IPv6 address 2001:1418:13:1::25
ipv6.chat.eu.freenode.net has IPv6 address 2001:6b0:e:2018::172
ipv6.chat.eu.freenode.net has IPv6 address 2001:898:2000:3::1
One of them (2001:898:2000:3::1) doesn't work for me. If the DNS returns that IPv6 address first XChat will unfortunately...
