I tried to compile kfilter on Debian Unstable, with g++ (Debian 4.3.2-1) 4.3.2. I get the following error message when running make:

Hi, yes I just noticed that myself while experimenting with the lilypond file, that the only thing that needed modification was the duration of the chords (apart from the midi section business). When When I adjusted the durations in the same way that you are mentioned, the the midi file played with chords. I will probably make a script that takes the \skip number and instead puts it right after...

Thanks, dmmcintyr, for looking at the lilypond files. Hjunes' efforts are much appreciated, and I will use this when I make lead sheats. I will look more closely at the LilyPond file generated by RoseGarden, and report any useful results back here. In fact, maybe I will write a small script that converts the lilypond file into something that gives me MIDI files with audible chords.

I can get a lead sheet PDF output using this, but when I use Lilypond to generate a midi file from Rosegardens lilypond export, it does not contain the chords. I don't know why, I'm no export on *.ly files. I will upload an example a lilypond file that does automatically generates a midi file that contains chords in addition to the melody.

Wow, that was fast (if I understand correctly that the work is done, or mostly done). If only others had reacted to security issues as fast as this :-)

Hi, in Lilypond it is possible to write chord names along with a melody by writing something like \chords { a d2 ... }
The resulting score will look like a lead sheet, and the MIDI output will actually contain the chords being played in addition to the melody. I think this is fantastic when working with simple melodies + chords, because it is so efficient compared to inputting individual...

My rosegarden complains at startup because I don't have any of acroread, xpdf, gpdf, evince and kpdf. But I have okular, the pdf-reader for KDE4. Maybe a configure option where one could specify the name of the PDF viewer would be good

I have read that the point of .jackdrc is that applications can use it to start jackd automatically. It contains a command to start jackd with all command line options that the user wants. It would be good if Rosegarden could start jackd automatically this way.

When using "focus follows mouse", the playlist window will always disappear when moving the mouse from the main window towards the playlist, if there is another window in between.

The functions glutBitmapString and glutStrokeString are documented as taking arguments

But in freeglut_ext.h they are declared as taking the arguments

I'm using Debian Sid and freeglut3-dev_2.4.0-6.1. Maybe the documentation is just out of date, because it says v2.0.0:
