Wow, it looks like you're using a *really* old version of LMMS (Qt3 based 0.3.x series). Please upgrade to 0.4.x and your problems likely will be gone.

This is a known issue with early versions of Qt 4.5. Please upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 and the issue should be gone. We can't fix it within LMMS.

Ok, I found the bug. It was not a problem with XML saving/loading. The bug has been fixed in commit 17b388d4823735d0e597381b55b935c050ae80a8 and will be fixed in upcoming 0.4.6 release as well.

This looks like a problem with XML processing. XML is saved by mxml-library (ZynAddSubFX itself) and then loaded by QtXml and saved into the final project file. When loading the file again, there's a reverse processing chain. I'll rewrite ZynAddSubFX' XMLwrapper to use QtXml too and hopefully all problems will be gone then.

I'm sorry but this bug is not very helpful. Could you please add some more information such as platform/operating system and the VST plugins you tried to load?.

This is normal behaviour if you do not set a release > 0 for volume in the envelope-tab. Setting a release > 0 should fix this issue.
