I suggest that "Search" be expanded to "Search Name, Summary, and Description fields, including hidden links" and the button be relabeled "Go". Then add "Search displayed pages with Google" with a separate entry field and Go button. Search seems to be generally broken

The search boxes on http://pypi.python.org/pypi and elsewhere do not work in any way that expect. It ignores the Author field and perhaps the others. On the other hand, it seems to return spurious hits. Example. Search for 'Jeremy' returns 6 hits, including http://pypi.python.org/pypi/collective.autorestart/0.2.0 Neither my eyes not Firefox's Find can find 'Jeremy' anywhere on that page...
