A mechanism would be helpful for absolute positioning of output on top of a right-to-left line.
Currently, if a program tries to draw a menu, using graphic menu border characters and cursor positioning escapes, the bidi reordering seems to be applied after all output, thus mangling the menu appearance. (As a workaround, the application must clear all right-to-left lines before opening a menu...)

Mouse wheel escape sequences (in mouse reporting mode) were apparently partially fixed in a recent release, to use
the codes ^[[Ma.. and ^[[M`.. However, they are stilled followed by additional subsequent mouse release sequences ^[[M#..
which confuse applications that try to handle mouse wheel movement. These are superfluous and should just be removed, please.

The following keypad configuration is broken by default:
* (major) There are no distinguished Ctrl-Del/Home/End escape sequences (although there are Ctrl-modified sequences for other keypad keys).
* (major) The keypad middle key ("5", KP_Begin) is ignored, it should be mapped to ^[[E , ^[[1;5E etc.
* (minor) Escape sequences for Alt-Del/Home/End are inconsistent with those for other keypad...

I am trying to compile w3m 0.5.2 but it keeps
telling my configure: error: gc.h not found
I have installed the gc package and I have tried
both configure --includedir=... and CPPFLAGS=-I... configure, nothing helps.
