Sorry it took so long - but I can work on it only during the weekends.
Please keep updating from subversion, I have committed some more memory leaks fixes (I am using valgrind for the testing).
I also reduced the initial memory footprint (I saved something like 5Mb), and changed the sniffing code a bit (it is using less cpu now).
Now the memory usage is 80 bytes per second per host - ie...

I put in subversion the latest code (revision 126.)... the memory leaks are fixed now.
