Blue HttpMailProxy is an application that acts as a POP, IMAP and SMTP proxy to provide access to HTTPMail email servers (such as Hotmail, MSN, and Lycos).
From now on, Blue HttpMailProxy isn't going to be actively maintained. (If you're interested in the reasons why, see http://bhttpmail.sourceforge.net/#news)
I hope you've enjoyed using the software as much as I enjoyed helping to write...

Hi everyone,
I've just re-released the binary package for version 0.5.6 since the configuration file contained a mistake that caused a crash upon application startup. It turns out that it wasn't you who had written that single quote in the configuration file - it was me! I've since corrected the 0.5.6 release package and re-released it. I've also fixed the bug that caused the crash.
I'll sort out the lack of error reporting from --service-run the next time I have a chance to play with the code under Windows.
Thanks,
Rob.

Putting a stray apostrophe at the beginning of the configuration file will cause the application to crash.

Hi Stellan,
Yeah, I agree that an error message would be better... :) Sorry about the grief it caused you.
As you've discovered, the 'lognone' switch is the right way to disable logging altogether. (The 'log' tags in the config file were intended to enable debugging - but it's inconsistent that it doesn't allow the same behaviour.)
Unfortunately, the application doesn't provide an easy...
