The download also does not contain source, and the download is GPL. It violates the license agreement.

If you read your rules, the Perian sourceforge project violates this rule:
Source Availability: Lack of source code availability or other license term problems with existing file releases.
We will never release Perian source on sourceforge. Please delete the project. I don't want to deal with sourceforge any longer as a project admin.

This issue was causing us too many headaches. We've switched to someone else
to host our downloads. As of right now we are not using any services within
sourceforge, so if you guys want to ditch the perian project from sf that'd be
fine with me.

I submitted a download for the Perian project, as a
.dmg. I selected dmg from the drop down list. For a lot
of users this is being served as a .dmg.bz.
This is an urgent issue for us, as it is causing
problems for a large amount of users.
