  • RivaTV will not compile in recent kernels

Just tried to compile latest CVS and I get the attached make errors. I WOULD be trying a release, but since CVS-2006-04-29 refused to compile with even MORE errors ... and I had to change the configure script to get that far too! As you should be able to see, I'm running Linux kernel 2.6.21.

  • V4L API version

I'm currently getting: v4lopen:VIDIOCGCAP: Invalid argument when I run effectv 0.3.11. Apparetnly VIDIOCGCAP is a V4L1 call, which I don't have in my kernel. Could effectv support v4l2 soon? Thanks.

  • MPEG Processing

Is there a way to get EffecTV to process pure MPEGs? I think that MPEG processing would be a good built-in feature. Or would it be possible to give EffecTV access to the standard codec formats (such as the win32 codecs mplayer uses) so that it could be used on plain files instead of only v4l?.

  • Neveredit tutorial?

I'm thrilled to see Neveredit exists (I was about to try getting Aurora Toolset working in Cedega, but that requires me to install the Windows version >.<). Only problem is, I have no clue whatsoever on how to use it. I'd like to be able to put in items (such as specific swords, armour etc) and customise it. Are there plans for any official tutorials?.

  • Followup: RE: NEED BIG HELP

I just downloaded Neveredit. So far I've only been able to open modules. There doesn't seem to be a way to create modules with it yet :S.

  • Followup: RE: A mystifiying issue.

It does not look to me like a problem with Azureus. My guess is something external is stopping it from creating files in the appropriate directory. Maybe the permissions have changed, maybe a virus scanner is preventing it from creating new files, maybe it's just Windows being fscking stupid as usual.

Obviously you taught it wrong :P What I would like to see is a reccomended method of training as a tutorial or something.

  • Downloadable doccies

I would like to see a tarball (or even a zipfile) of the docs for offline view.
