    hi, thanks for hanging in with me! ok, that is the site i went to. and when I download the source http://downloads.sourceforge.net/vnc-tight/tightvnc-1.3.10_unixsrc.tar.bz2 and compile it , i get a viewer called vncviewer not xtightvncviewer so, right off the bat, i have a problem. and the 'ln -s' thing does not work either the bottom line is I do not think xtightvncviewer has...

    Hi, Thanks for taking a look. Here is the problem as I see it. I have no executable called xtightvncviewer...i do have vncviewer with is the one for tightvnc... so I thought I would be clever and ln -s to xtightvncviewer. now, when I try to launch a vnc session, I get a gui up with syntax info (as if It were called with the wrong command line parms) so, is vncviewer from tightvnc the...

  • interface question....anyone around here?

    Hi, I like this app, I notice that when you start it, it puts an icon in the icon tray that stays around even when you close the app. Is there a way to put it in that panel permanently? I like having it there, but you have to start the app to get it.... does this make sense?.
