I am guessing that by analysis you mean looking at the annotations in a text editor because I don't see how it would simplify doing things programmatically.
Thus I would be against this change in the spec at it would reduce performance without providing any new features.
I need more detail on this, but I suspect that writing a perl script to make the output more verbose & easier to read...
