It happens when you dismiss the Firewall / Ruleset window and click Tools, Discovery Druid.
Leaving the Filewall / Ruleset window open and it works, well even. It found my DD-WRT router behind a Hughes Satellite Modem and my Linux workstation (the others are running that other operating system).
I'll be installing an Ubuntu router at a remote POP next week and fwbuilder looks like a...
