Regarding the user ownership, it is so mentioned in Readme of Gnowsys application, But no constraint on what the username should be is mentioned.

We looked through the passwd package, and used the user 'tomcat' in PostInstScript section and assigned the user ownership of Plone folder.
We tested with both 'tomcat' and 'apace' users, The application is working fine in both cases.
Please look through and let us know.

Please find responses to the comments provided below:
1. The typo error has been rectified.
2. Symbolic links that point to the build directory are updated in the PostInstScript by using perl scripting of info file.
3. Passwd package has been added as a dependancy for postgres user creation, however a user is to be created for plone as well. Hence user creation is necessary.
