The Dish receivers now support transferring recordings to an external USB HDD. It seems they are encrypted, however. Please find a way to interface PvrExplorer to a USB HDD and decrypt the data. I'm sure it's a flawed encryption scheme like with DVDs ;)
With this working, one would not need to disassemble the Dish receiver and mingle with the internal HDD, etc. I have activated this...

it's possible. i wouldn't rely on this for anything important until a signature is posted that verifies the download i already have. after all, they could just now say that the md5 is AA3907CBE3220F57E1C1A1BBAEC062EF and trick us into thinking we have the original.

i also got AA3907CBE3220F57E1C1A1BBAEC062EF
maybe the 4 of us got the corrupt download and Nuke got the original?.

hmm, i can't believe we are resorting to this for such a project. there should be an official MD5 or a signature available in the downloads.

at the time of writing that, there were 35 seeding torrents. if not all, then nearly all are always active. then there are probably around 70 downloaders the server is connected to (i would say 2/torrent on average).

The downloads are quite large. They vary in size but right now around 130 GiB is being served on this server. The server uploads at about 1 Mb/s. The tracker runs on another system.

Ok I've been using 2.3.0.7_B20 and have not noticed any improvement. As i mentioned in my last post, it is using about 200 MB of ram. The transfers freezing is still occurring. I have realized that this freezing only seems to happen when a new torrent is added. To clarify, when i say "freeze" i don't mean the program, as it is still functional. It is just the transfers that freeze...

ok I installed that. There are only 34 torrents running now, and still ~200MB ram usage for javaw.exe. I'll get back to report if that annoying "freeze" with 0 B/s transfers happens.

If java is not slow and horrible, then I'd like to know why the performance of Azureus is horrible. I have it running on a WS 2003, 2x2.8 GHz Xeon server, with 2 GB ram. I use Azureus to share files across my company's network, and with other branch locations, and usually there are between 30 and 60 torrents running. The performance is horrible. Not only that, but it makes the whole server...
