I have enough permissions for both files. Maybe there was a race condition on shutdowning the system like that GIO created the temporary file and before it could replace the original one the system was offline. Isn't there any way to improve this behavior? At least maybe PCManFM can check on startup for these files and clean them or such.

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and on Tools -> "Find Files" values with a / can make troubles. Here is an example: 1. Go to /tmp. 2. On "File Name Patterns" write "/*" without the doublequotes. 3. The search result will now be "search://tmp?recursive=1&show_hidden=0&name=/*&name_ci=1". 4. On going now a directory up PCManFM thinks that the /...

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and the options under Tools -> "Find Files" are always reset if I'm doing a new search. Maybe they could be all collected into an own category like [search] so that there default can be changed. Also it would be useful if it additionally would have an option to control if the last used options should be saved or withdrawn on a new search.

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and on Tools -> "Find Files" I'm missing an option to search only for files, directories, symlinks or any combination of these. Maybe such a feature would fit as an own checkbox group in the "File Type" register. At default all 3 could be selected (as it is currently implicit done).

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and if a search result from Tools -> "Find Files" contains a symlink which would normally show an icon it is not shown anymore in the search result.

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and on Tools -> "Find Files" -> "File Type" only some categories of mimetypes can be selected. Maybe below the checkboxes could be a field where you can specify a list of mimetypes that are not covered by the checkboxes.

With PCManFM 1.1.2 on right clicking a file PCManFM wll show the related applications in the context menu. But if there are too many applications they will move into the submenu "Open with...". Here is what I think would be nice to extend: 1. An option to control how many entries are needed to create a submenu. Users could keep this way there context menu more clean like they want...

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and on double clicking an executable file PCManFM will ask what to do: Execute; Execute in Terminal; Open; Cancel. I remember that this window hasn't appeared a long while ago. Maybe there could be an option added to control if this window should be displayed ot not on executable files.

Does this also mean that a directory should be followed in general on renaming? For example if tab 1 is on ~/tmp and tab 2 is renaming ~/tmp to ~/tmp2 tab 1 gets closed too.

I'm using PCManFM 1.1.2 and after cleaning ~/.config/pcmanfm/LXDE/ from over 100 desktop-items-0.conf* files I'm noticing that after a logout the file ~/.config/pcmanfm/LXDE/desktop-items-0.conf is created but it is empty. It looks like it makes no difference if the file is empty or non-existent. If this is true maybe PCManFM can prevent writing this file to disk if it is empty.
