Hello,
We are using webcalendar 1.2.0 in production on Debian 5.0 with all security patches. Lately we have been having a problem when creating a new entry (we are using LDAP authentication) whereby adding participants now greets us with :
Error
Invalid login
The only changes to the system are security patches and latest Debian ones suggest libapr in which a bug was fixed which...

Sorry, what i meant by unattended would actually be that you take a good long look at the report and if you are satisfied with it, you do a non interactive update of the database.

Hello,
Are you sure it is not cron exiting with an error 5 ? Have you set all paths to the application and reports ? Have you installed tripwire from sources ? If so, it will require paths to all config files and everything. You can also set cron to produce more output on your mail report.

If you can validate the update to the database on a daily basis, I guess that would be my approach, now not quite sure that is what you want.

It's been a while since I worked on HP-UX systems but which extent of GNU tools do you have installed on the system? Might be an idea to check this : http://www.gnu.org/software/automake/manual/make/Suffix-Rules.html
I can try to see if I can get my hands on an HP-UX sytem for testing.

Actually, both modes are supported, there is also an unattended option which validates ALL the entries in the report to the database.
