Hello,
I am sending in a patch against 3.5, which adds a new function to joe. Pressing ^[A or using the corresponding new function "ceslide" will
slide the text, so that the current line will become the center line.
The patch includes the patched help-texts and configuration for joerc and rjoerc.
The jmacs configuration file is not altered, because there the same behaviour is...

this is a commonly used short cut for
'delete from cursor to begin of word'.
OmegaT should support this.

Joe 3.5:
When I run "Esc+C" to run make the first
time a small window is openend at the
bottom which shows the shell output.
That's ok.
The second time (and all subsequently)
the small window is openend and the
a new big main window is opened which
shows the same shell output.
This is a bug.
