For me, on Ubuntu Jaunty, libtool is explicitly adding -lstdc++ to the linker command-line anyway:

Perhaps g++'s implicit -lstdc++ doesn't load the library globally, but an explicit -lstdc++ does?

Hi smokymcpot,
Can you run the following command, then gzip ld.so.txt.*, and attach them here. This will give a trace of all the symbol lookups that ld.so is performing, which might give more of a clue.
LD_DEBUG=all LD_DEBUG_OUTPUT=ld.so.txt congruity

Update MIME types in .desktop file. Patch by Adam Williamson <awilliam@redhat.com>. Apparently, these new MIME types match what the Logitech server sends when you perform a download; see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=506536#c12. Implemented, and congruity-13 released.
I had to spend ages trying to work out how to create a new "file release" so as to actually publish the newly-uploaded file. However, it appears that this is completely automatic now, so there's no need. Very nice of sf.net to tell people about all the changes they're making!
