I am unable to pass options (such as +/-98) to Hugs. That is, typing "hugs.exe -98" for the entry for Hugs Executable in FP->Haskell->Interpreter->Hugs98 in Preferences prevents Hugs from starting up. So my workaround is to put that line in .bat file (shell file on Unix) and type in the name of the bat file instead. I ran into a similar problem trying to pass the -prof option...
