I expected more time needed, as I had read that Openbravo (another open source ERP) needs about [1 month translation work][1] for a full-time translator (it has 400,000 words). Does it mean that Openbravo is bigger than opentaps? Or maybe just the assumptions involved in the estimations differ.

I have afterwards realized that some components don't have any xxUiLabels.xml or translation .properties files, so they probably don't have any UI (e.g. securityext). We're hopefully going to translate opentaps into Persian, and we would like to have a rough estimation of the work needed, in order to plan and know if hiring an outside translator is needed (we have to make opentaps usable to Persian-speakers in about 2 months).

You probably have vim installed in your linux (if not, try vi instead), so you can edit the xml file like this:

I checked out svn://svn.opentaps.org/opentaps/versions/1.4/trunk (at November 4th) and ran ant to build it. The build process at first proceeded without any problem until it reached the gwt section. We have the same problem on opentaps 1.4, and yes, we have done ant run-install already.
Is there a way to determine if ant run-install has run successfully or not? Should it populate the database table user_login? There's a user_login table in the DB and it's empty.
