while attempting to test genericevent.patch for our distro, I found that tk would not build. It is failing at this point:
gcc -c -O2 -march=pentium4 -pipe -pipe -Wall -Wno-implicit-int -fPIC -I/usr/src/tk8.5.3/unix/../unix -I/usr/src/tk8.5.3/unix/../generic -I/usr/src/tk8.5.3/unix/../bitmaps -I/usr/src/tcl8.5.3/generic -I/usr/src/tcl8.5.3/unix -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"tk\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"tk\"...

Sorry I didn't respond in time to catch the autocloser. I just can't figure out why my unread count on the systray icon is incorrect the second time that feeds find new articles. Again if I hold the mouse over it the icon the unread count is correct, it is the new count that is wrong. It could be that say my yahoo news around has 2 new articles (both counts are 2 and icon is 2), then a bbc...

I updated to 1.4.2b and still show this error. Currently I have 12 unread items. The number in the icon is 16 and if I hold the mouse over the icon I see:
16 new items
12 unread items
I seems that the 12 unread items is what should be displayed. What is the difference in these two counts?.

Often the unread count on the systray icon is off by a large number. The first time new items are found the count is correct, but each time more are found the number grows larger then then actual count.

This is fixed with version 0.5.0-10. For version 0.5.0-6 I added -L/usr/X11R6/lib to my LDFLAGS to make it work. Thanks.

Unable to build ayttm 0.5.0-6. Build fails when ld is unable to find -lXss. This is using Sourcemage GNU/Linux with everything build from source and xorg 6.9 monolithic.

I see the same behavior with devhelp so not your issue. By
the way, where is your gkmozembed coming from? Currently I
am building against seamonkey 1.05, but if I try to build
against firefox 1.5.0.7, I get segfaults on start, not your
issue either since it happens with devhelp too. Just curious.

Definitely the functional stability is much improved. I
usually leave liferea running and often in the mornings it
would have crashed overnight. I haven't seen that for a
while. For me I like it better already then the older
version and have stopped using the 1.0.x series. A small
bug I noticed that when it starts up. The two windows on
the right...

perfect. 1.1.9b fixed that problem and the skipping unread
items remains fixed. Need to find something else now. :)
memory usage? :)
Great job!
