There is a couple of events you could hook to (sorry, I don't remember which one suits best your needs):
- DockPanel.ActiveContentChanged
- DockContent.DockStateChanged
- Form.Enter (not always called, because DockPanel changes a little how Form's activation works).

Presupposing that Notepad++ is clean (!), I was wondering if it really performs anything which could somehow look like DLL injection.

I've used Notepad++ for ages (thks again to all its contributors!) on a clean PC with antivirus (K...) and firewall, etc. etc.
But with v5.5 (with no plugin installed except document monitor) when I hit control+tab to switch between documents, Kaspersky blocks the operation saying "**Notepad++ trying to inject a module in all process**". I don't think this happened in...
