On most home networks (and some ISP networks), the MAC address is a more stable identifier than the IP address. It would be nice if bandwidthd stored the MAC address in the logged data, in addition to or instead of the IP address.

For about a day now, the /. firehose feed has been broken for me. It looks like the filtering is no longer happening, and the feed instead tracks every item in the firehose, even if it's a comment from some random person who I don't care about. Start btanks-0.6.5069, click on the credits item, move the mouse cursor up slightly so it is over where the options item _would have_ been, and click. Instead of clearing the credits, the options screen is activated, and the credits remain shown. Now click near the edge of the window, and the credits will be cleared, leaving the options screen open.

I don't remember exactly where it crashed, but it would be while I was trying to start a game, and in the first or second screen. This is a build from source of the July 26th cvs snapshot, see http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~sruggier/files/apt/ to reproduce the exact build procedure used.

The Channels and Stereo Mode menus are useless until a file is loaded, so this patch disables them at startup (and reenables them when a file is loaded).

This is a modification to preferencesdialogbase.ui to make the dialog have a smaller minimum size. I didn't change any strings, but Qt designer did decide to add a few keyboard mnemonics to the ui file. If I hadn't refrained from changing strings, I probably would have replaced certain labels, like "Colorkey:", with groupboxes (I didn't want to remove the colon from the end and then have to...
