Downgrade to version 2.3 and it will work.

Hello,
Designer SV is not free -- at least not for "competitors". It's limited, buggy and quite old. I'm currently in the process of replacing Designer by Qucs for my class.
BTW, is it intentional, that modifications to the wiki pages are restricted to "users in one of the groups editor, admin"?

The installer of version 1.1.2 and 1.2b2 do not run inside the LinuxStandardBase Sample Implementation.
Even command line switches like --version or --debug do nothing.
There are no error messages.
I think, the installer tries to dynamic load a library, which is not present in the sample implementation - but at least --version and --debug switches should work.

The net installer in unattended mode does not install a complete MikTeX system. It defaults to the basic install mode.
This should be configurable by a command line switch like:
--complete
--basic
My command line:
start "Titel" /wait \\server\Programme\MikTeX-2.6\setup-2.6.2718.exe --unattended --shared --install-from-local-repository...

I would like to do the following (possible with mc):
opening a tgz-archive; then press F5 on a file inside of the tgz-archive; entering a relative path of "..", which means: copy that file to the same folder, where the tgz-archive resides.
That's a quick way to extract contents from an archive without needing to relocate the other panel.
