I have a couple of questions on dimensions that are displayed in the configure window.
When I choose to edit a dimension (to change the selection criteria) some dimension values are grouped. Does anyone know what is the criteria openi uses to group the dimension values in the configure window.
If I click on flat, all the dimension values are displayed to choose from.

Hi, I have made the changes to the JDBCserviceuserimpl, so database authentication (manage users under properties) works when openI is running on Tomcat.

Hello all
The latest build that is available for openi (370) is not working. I downloaded the code and built the .war file and deployed it on tomcat, for some reason it does not pick up the single datasource that is present

Hello All,
Is it possible to set up a chart, so that we can display the data labels in the chart. This is possible in the excel. data label is the value of the item in the chart(In excel we can display it either as a number or a percentage) Can this be incorporated in OpenI

I have installed openI 2.0 build (359) and mondrian 3.1 and postgressql as the backend. Openi and mondrian are running on Tomcat. In the current setup if there is any change to the data or if new data is added to postgres through ETL I have to restart TOMcat to see the new data in OpenI. Is there anyother way to set a refresh rate for openI so that if there is a data change, we...

Hello All,
I would like to know if a person logging in as a app_user can delete analysis stored in his private folder. I see that the Preferences tab does not show the drop down for users with the app_user role. Is it possible to enable, so that the user can delete the analysis created in the user's private folder.

It still is not working. I changed the springapp-servlet.xml file in openI and I made the code change to the .java file you had mentioned and built the openi.war again and used the new war file. (As you see I am new to Java so this might be very basic stuff)

I imported the classes you mentioned and then I was able to build without any errors. But still I am not able to login using the username and passwrod that is created from openi Manage users GUI. Is it possible to save the password as plain text, because that seems to be working (my only user and password that works has a text value of the password stored in the user table...
