  • Followup: RE: Release Management Proposal

We might want to consider looking into getting dotProject (http://www.dotproject.net/) setup on the exponentcms.org website. Its a opensource, free web based project management tool. Works pretty well, I've used it on a few different projects I've worked on.

  • Followup: RE: I guess Exponent died ?

Add me to the Code Contributor list. I've already heavily upgraded the bbmodule (though we'll need to evaluate how much of what I did goes to the core functionality, as some is custom for specific project stuff).

  • Followup: RE: TODO Module?

I found a bug in the module where you'll get a bunch of prints (one for each task) about an invalid property 'id'. The problem is the "No category" entry prepended to the category array has no property 'id'. To fix it, I added the last line of code here: $cats = $db->selectObjectsIndexedArray("category","location_data='".serialize($loc)."'");...

  • TODO Module?

Anyone have a TODO list module? I was thinking of writing one but didn't want to have to write one if there was one out there already.

  • Bulletin Boards Module Update!

Hey All, I'm in the midst of developing a website for a friend of mine, and decided to use Exponent because it is such a nice framework. As a result, I've heavily upgraded the existing Bulletin Board system! Check it out here: http://www.xtheboard.com/index.php?section=10 It supports searching through threads, reply with quote, post preview, thread view and post view pagination, and...

  • Followup: RE: FCK Editor

My main problem with HTMLArea is that is produces code at times that stomps itself. For instance, I tried to change a font color, and its font face, as well as the size. Via many attempts the only way I could get it to work was to go into HTML mode, and put the <font> first before the <span> tag it decided to place. Truely bizzare. In most cases now, I just go to the FCKEditor...

  • Followup: RE: FCK Editor

I'm thinking about integrating this properly, but I'm hesitating because I've seen a marked lack of activity recently. If I saw some more active support from the developers of this project, perhaps that would be sufficient motivation for me to give it a go.

  • Permissions on User Profile Extension fields?

I want to add a user profile extension, and then set permissions to view the various fields in the extension to specific groups. Is this possible? If not, how could I extend the system to do this?.
