Possible add support for a config file inside a folder to make it hidden from nucleus. Just a simple text file with some setup commands.

Add functionality to sideshow pictures as the background. Maybe specify a folder to keep cycling through and then the time between images.

Some settings should be accessible in large gui form inside nucleus so that most common settings can be easily accessed. Make the settings button actually show a separate screen that has some options.

When in now playing, the auto-queue should show the next file before it loads it. That way when you are playing a folder you can still see the next file long before the current file finished.

When playing a video, add a custom delay before playing the next file. This should give people a chance to stop the next file playing before it starts loading.

When searching a folder, automatically suggest files by using the list of objects currently in the list. When submitted actually perform a search instead of just filtering.
On a simaler note, make searches actually filter the list instead of just finding within the list.

When counting the sub folders and files of a folder. Possible display by media type. For example, 5 Folders, 6 Audio Files, 3 Videos, 19 Pictures.

Provide a way of sorting the current folder by date, by file type etc....
Not sure how to add this functionality but maybe some extra buttons in the search screen, or some other simpler redesign in that area.

Not sure how to intergrate this with the current interface, but a method of quickly choosing a picture to be the new background picture. Maybe a new button in now playing?.

When browsing a folder nucleus could act just like explorer. So by using the arrow keys to navigate you can then use shift to select multiple files with then maybe enter being select and shift and shift enter being the equivalent of right click or holding down on the mouse.
