  • IL "pkg" packaging system available

I uploaded the packaging system I use to build the Industrial Linux (IL) tarballs with. Even if you're not interested in the IL distro itself, you may be interested in leaving the complex world of .rpm and .deb behind in favor of tarballs. It's available at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/industriallinux/ From the pkg-USAGE file: pkg - The Industrial Linux packaging system ##.

  • Industrial Linux alpha version 0.0.1 available

After many stops (and a few starts), I've released an *alpha* version of Industrial Linux. It doesn't have any of the cool security stuff in it yet; at this point I'm just looking to see if it installs properly on other people's systems. If some of you with a spare partition or two wouldn't mind, I'd sure appreciate it if you could try installing it and tell me what problems you run into.

  • Mail folders?

It seems to me that once one of the site's admin and style/color info is sucked into the mod_perl code, it is used to render any site running under that instance of apache. I double-checked to make sure I have each site with it's own database; I closed my browser and trashed the cookies in...

  • Empty database template & broken hidden link

Hi everyone, I'm new to Metadot, but an otherwise competent web programmer/admin. I'm trying to set up a "template" installation that's mostly empty so I don't have to manually delete everything (I'm setting each family member up with their own Metadot server). Is it just as simple as deleting everything from the channel, channelitem, instance, message, mypage, and subscription...

  • 0.96/0.97 column name wrong in calendar

If you install a fresh copy of 0.96 or 0.97, there's a bug in phpgw_calendar.inc.php. The database has column "cal_mdatetime", the code refers to "cal_edatetime".
