Excellent. (Re)moving Trolltech.conf worked for me. This just leaves me wondering what this file was doing in the first place.

Hi Barry,
I checked the 9 textures and can confirm that the names are the same as in landscape.ini, even the case is correct. They also measure exactly 256x256 pixels.
Only the 'groundtex = guereinsb.png' texture is displayed correctly.
I got a feeling that this problem may related to a video driver issue. Any thoughts on that?
Sven.

name = Guereins
author = Fabien Chéreau

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem. Everything went OK until I upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10 (9.04 was still OK). Mars and moon OK but other landscapes are not. By the way, I use Stellarium 0.10.2.
Everything up to +15° (from horizon) is gray. I did a reinstall out or the Synaptic package server, but nothing changes.
Anybody know what's going on?
Thanks,
Sven.
