would you mind putting your contribution under the Apache 2 license and include the license header to the files? I'm very excited about this contribution and it might be also good as a reference for a corresponding Eclipse JCRM connector.

sorry for coming back to you that late.
Hippo is an other CMS so you probably want to use the JCR Browser standard edition to connect to Magnolia.
Magnolia doesn't open an RMI port right now so you would need to use the Jackrabbit version 1.5.2 that is bundled with the JCR Browser and hope that Magnolia uses the same libraries. I already tried to configure Magnolia to open...
