Ok, here is what I did to get it working. I had to put "RewriteEngine On" in the httpd.conf. Apparently having it in .htaccess was not enough. Also I had to add the line
RewriteBase /~entertrack
to the .htaccess file, because I use a user directory to install Entertrack.
I still have problem with images not displaying, but the app seems to be working.
