  • Current Status? (Not working?)

Hey guys, I've been unable to get Fluent.Toc working in a couple of applications. I took a look at the source code and debugged it to try and figure what was going on. I believe it's causing an exception in the ReadFlap() method or something. Can you keep us posted on what's going on? Thanks! -S.

  • Followup: RE: Executor gives up getting threads

What do your logs have to say? What version of Alchemi are you using? I've come across a few problems when using 1.0.6, so, you may want to give a shot at using 1.0.5 and see what happens.

Alright, here's an update. I found out that a lot of the problems I were experiencing were due to using the 1.0.6 release. I rolled back to 1.0.5 and things seem to be working a lot easier now. The only problem I'm having is with my threads not being executed out. I'm able to start the grid application and it appears on the Manager Console application, but my ThreadFinished method isn't...

Thanks for the quick response! Alright, I'm starting to piece it together. I threw together a prototype, but I'm having difficulty starting a thread. I'm playing around with getting Alchemi integrated with an application of mine via a class library (which is called as an extension in the application.) Here's the code I'm using: public void AddThread(string FFcmdline...

  • A few questions from a beginner.

Hi guys, I have a couple questions pertaining to the general overview of how threads are distributed. When you initiate and start ten threads when three executors are active, are those ten threads run simultaneously on the three threads? I'd like to implement Alchemi on executing the launch of a program with various command line parameters, so, I just want one thread active on each executor.

Oh. I'm running on WINXP SP2 with Core 2 Duo - I suppose this problem is due to 64-bit processor?.

  • Comment: Console temporarily freezes when running dos program

Note - Console appears to freeze immediately when I connect to the AIM service when using the shortcut. If I start up the program, navigate to the BSFlite directory in console, and run bsflite.exe, Console is stable only until I click on an application running in the background, and then come back to Console (Console goes from Active -> Inactive -> Active -> FREEZE)

  • Console temporarily freezes when running dos program

I've been having trouble with the newest release of Console 2.00 Beta 129 (that I never really had previously). When running a command-based aim client (BSFlite - bsflite.sf.net), Console freezes once I connect into the AIM service. However, if I bring up the task manager to kill the bsflite.exe process, Console returns back to the command prompt and outputs any characters I typed into...
