I had a lot of duplicates of musical files on my PC. I used to delete duplicate files [URL="http://www.fileutilityblog.com/archives/228"]duplicate music finder[/URL], which is called Clone Remover. It is a usefull program for all files, not only music. May be, it will solve your problem.
