When compiling g2ice with g++ v4.4.1, some problems are detected. The attached patch fixes them. Among the fixed problems are:
* warning: deprecated conversion from string constant to ‘char*’
* error: ‘transform’ is not a member of ‘std’.

The attached patch improves the net plugin in three ways:
1) adds an option to the configuration to set the interface to be monitored; the configuration variable is called "Interface"
2) adds an option to the configuration to set the polling interval time (in microseconds); the variable is called "PollingTime"
3) the tooltip shows interesting information: the upload and download speed...

Currently the dclock plugin does not allow showing seconds in the time format. It would be very nice to be able to do that. The attached patch modifies the source code to add to more formats for the clock: %T and %I:%M:%S, With this formats seconds are shown in the dclock plugin.
