Thanks, glad to hear it has been fixed. I'll wait for rc5 then.

Hi
I am one of developer of PocketFreemind. We encounter a problem with 0.9-rc4 : Freemind can not open the file written by PocketFreemind. However, using beta20 the file can be opened fine.
After investigating the problem further, it seems rc4 can not open the file with character encoding utf-8y which is what is written by .net cf. It might be a problem with java ...

No need to add a ticket, since complying with the latest desktop freemind is implied.
As for the [n], it is made that way to show the node with note in it. So, if your node has note in it and it has [n] tag it's intended, otherwise it's a bug. Basically it's a workaround for standard treeview .net cf which can only show one icon.

The [n] is a mark for notde that has html note in it. 0.6 Beta 1 is developed against freemind 0.9 beta versions so it might have more issues in rc versions like the one above. Try using beta if the compatibility is important to you (I personally still use beta20). We might continue the development and test it against rc versions soon.

It probably is. Still, the apps (either pocketfreemind or desktopfreemind) should give clearer info/warning on opening/saving different encoding.
