In the symbols panel, not only show the first occurrence of a symbol, but the next 4 (5 in total). When clicking on it, take the user to the first occurrence in the code and show every occurrence of that symbol in the current file.

I think that geany needs better color management. For instance, enable support of standard .gpl palettes in the colors dialog. Also, when having the cursor next to a color (left to it, right to it, in it) either have the text flash that color or have an unobtrusive box pop up above/below the color code which shows the color.
