The oversampler currently does not check if DLL_PROCESS_DETACH is due to FreeLibrary or due to process shutdown (http://blogs.msdn.com/larryosterman/archive/2004/06/10/152794.aspx). This seems to not have caused problems in practice yet, but it could (for example, if the Host leaks the DLL Handle, or it's a very simple host that simply doesn't care).

I have no Steinberg host for testing, unfortunately. What I can (and should (and will, eventually)) do is test the mentioned plugins to see if they work in other hosts using the wrapper.

An installer should provide a shell extension, which provides some minimal configuration.
The oversampler should optionally support .ini files which give default settings when loading the oversampler with that particular plugin.
