Attached is a file with the corrections made to the literals
from the cvs-2004-10-08 version. I'm not sure who to
address it to.
I compiled it and then built an rpm with it. (Frank sent me
the updated file.)

Which version and platform are you using?
Maybe it's already fixed?
Unable to reproduce with krusader-cvs-2004-05-19
on Mandrake 9.2.
I can sympathize from hard experience--That's why I save
every time I stop typing to think.
Maybe you didn't have write permissions in the directory it
was trying to save in? I tried that also but it still won't.

Looks like you're right: I see the same, only worse in
Konqueror.
It changes the file date in the view pane as well as after
extracting.
Guess I can touch them but it's a nuisance. Oh, well.
Can you think of any way to get more rational (to my mind)
behaviour? Wincmd nor Totcmd do this, nor any of the other
versions of InfoZip I've seen. Wonder what...

Allow Delete Files on Floppy and Trash Local Files.
Generally, I want to Delete Files on floppies, but like
having the Move to Trash for local files.

using krusader-cvs-2004-04-30 on mdk92:
VFS: Zip/Tgz behavior: date change on extraction of files
1. copy files from a zip or tgz
2. Krusader changes the file date contained in zip to
current date.
3. How can I prevent this? The file has not changed.
