Hi:
I just realized there are multiple instances of the pspdash.ini file--one in the main folder and another in the sub-folder I created to store results. If you change the all (the right one), everything works.

Hi:
The above guidance has worked well for the past two years. However, in Release 1.11 when I add:
pspdiff.options.java=+{
pspdiff.options.c=+{
pspdiff.options.h=+{
pspdiff.options.cpp=+{
pspdiff.options.cs=+{
to the pspdash.ini file, the LOC Counter does not count lines with only { or }.
Can you give me some guidance.
Thanks,
rfrederi.

Hi:
I've added "Productivity" "Table of Metrics" to my Team Dashboard Rollup Summary. I would expect to see LOC/Hr for the A&M LOC and hours for the total team.
Instead, what I see is:
====================================================
Summary Rates Plan Actual
Productivity, LOC / Hr 0 0
====================================================
I believe this is defect, or I am...

David:
Looking at all the bullets on page 156, you are likely right--the fifth and sixth bullets must refer to Code review.

Hi
Page 156 in the TSPi text has a metric of "You found more than three defects per hour" as part of the justification for a Code Walkthru vs. Code Inspection. I can't find that metric in Dashboard. Could it be made available in a future release?
Although not explicit, I assume this is the sum of the defects found in Design Review and Code Review divided by the sum of Design Review...

Hi
In my TSPi course for Cycle 2, I’ve set up special “rollup_plan_summary.xml” and “indiv_plan_summary.xml” files for the Team Dashboard and Personal Dashboards to display useful data/information. We have accepted the default quality parameters in Team Dashboard. We are about half way through the Cycle and meaningful data/information is starting to be displayed. Typical files can...

Hi:
As we work our way through Cycle 2 of TSPi, we encounter Defects that were injected in Cycle 1 but were detected in Cycle 2 (typically in Requirements and Design phases). We used the "Before Development" for Injected and (say) "SW Reqts Inspect" for Removed in the defect log. Unfortunately, this seems to result in negative Phase Yields (Dashboard seems to believe we...

Hi all:
You can fetch the material I use to teach a MS-level TSPi course here http://zorak.monmouth.edu/~rfrederi/TSPi-RMF.zip .
Some points:
--I tend to use a lot of lecture (PPT) on concepts to complement the TSPi skills learning
--I have included my wbs, rollup-plan-summary, and individual-plan-summary .xml files. The WBS captures TSPi steps. The rollup provides useful...

Hi:
A student just told me that when they try to open the Team Dashboard, it will only open in the "read-only" mode. There is no-one else using the it. We may have had a similar problem yesterday in the lab when we were initializing for Cycle 2, but it was not a killer problem. Now the students are blocked from generating their WBS.
Thanks,
rfrederi.
