Hi Franco,
Try to use only AD\_PInstance\_ID as function parameter, then you can find other Adempiere parameters in auxiliar tables:
e.g.: If you have created a button in the C\_Order table, you can find the C\_Order\_ID of record where the button was pressed by doing:
SELECT Record\_ID FROM AD\_PInstance WHERE AD\_PInstance\_ID= adpinstanceid (or whatever is your parameter name).
