I guess the release notes are not detailed enough.
Go into Edit/Preferences, and on the General tab unselect 'Close terminal when disconnected'.
Mmmm, there was something wrong with the .deb build. It should contain the updated features, but it still reports the older version.
I will upload an updated version of the .deb.

Please check the new release. Let me know if that doesn't address your request.

I understand what you are saying and I don't disagree (although in the table layout it should try to reorganize the open terminals so that the "closed" terminal is gone).
The reason why I implemented it like I did: I want clusterm to quit when all the terminals have been closed.
Of course, both goals can be reached at the same time. I will have to think about how this can be done nicely.

I have implemented the feature as 'Save Session As Launcher' (in 0.5): it will create a .desktop file that will execute clusterm with the correct arguments to recreate the session. I didn't want to make this feature too complex, and this solution meets my needs.
If you think that there is something that this solution is lacking, I would like to hear from you. Otherwise, I plan to close this...

Yes, clusterm is currently tightly coupled with the use of gnome-terminal. I didn't want to reimplement all the preference settings in gnome-terminal.
Even so, the goal was to have some default settings when no gnome-terminal profile was found, but I guess it doesn't work as expected.

This is a good idea, one I had considered myself.
As a workaround:
-you can start clusterm from the command line, with as parameters the layout and servers you want to connect to: 'clusterm -note server1 server2 server3'
-building on top of that, you could copy the clusterm.desktop file and add the parameters in the 'Exec' field.
In fact, the last option is interesting, I might add that...
