  • Comment: Portability + bug fixes

Logged In: YES user_id=20532 Yeah, I've got this working quite nicely uploading/downloading images, audios, recordings, java etc. I've also done some simple python bindings for the library if you're interested in them - makes writing cli tools for upload/download trivial. re: the at$lgapp=1 command - sounds like your phone uses a different connection mechanism to mine. You probably...

  • Portability + bug fixes

Bug fixes: 1) Memory corruption in writeAndReadSeq whereby we overflow the input write buffer and corrupt the OBEX_init string 2) Inconsistent API usage - lgConnect: change unsigned long bytesRead to long bytesRead so we can actually detect error conditions Portability fixes: 1) Re-define ReadBytes and WriteBytes macros to do the right thing. Ugly workaround, but works. 2) Open...

  • Comment: Buddy list window name reflects the account/protocol

Logged In: YES user_id=20532 In this case you only need a single 'Buddy List' title. If you have multiple instances with different accounts in them, make the title a coagulation of the protocol/usernames used in the buddy list. Rules for naming: Single window with single/multiple protocols: Window title name 'Buddy List' Multiple windows with single protocol in each: Window title...

  • Custom 'active' messages

Using sametime, I can set the 'active' message on the server. Using gaim-meanwhile, I can set the 'away' message to anything I like, but the 'active' message cannot be set. I would like the ability to set the 'active' message on the server (ie 'I'm in the office' or 'I'm at home' etc).

  • Buddy list window name reflects the account/protocol

I would like to see an enhancement such that buddy list window names reflect the username/protocol in use - I have 3 IM accounts (meanwhile, yahoo and ICQ) and each is named 'Buddy List', so doing alt-tab between windows I can't distinguish between the different accounts.

  • Comment: rpm for 2.1 works strangely on Redhat 9.0

Logged In: YES user_id=20532 OK, I rebuilt the RPM and added the two extra lines as per the following dev forum thread: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=1636246&forum_id=2282 gcompris now seems to work quite well - maybe you should consider releasing 2.1.1 with the patches as per the forum? Thanks for the excellent software - lets see how my daughter likes...

Logged In: YES user_id=20532 Building the RPM from source results in the same behaviour :( Really wanted to get this working for my daughter. Please let me know if you want me to test anything.

  • rpm for 2.1 works strangely on Redhat 9.0

I installed the 2.1 RPM on RH 9.0, but the program works strangely - the first use of the program worked quite well, but gradually, each of the games clicked on the main screen would not work (ie doesn't refresh the top of the screen, but does refresh the toolbar at the bottom). No matter what I do now, the program will not run any of the game. Please let me know if you need any more...

  • Followup: RE: FYI: RPMBuild fails Mdk9.1

I am surprised that rpmbuild fails because a file isn't specified in the spec file - should be quite simple to fix though (2.1.4 maybe?) Regards, Richard.
