I'm not sure I'll add the ability to rotate any object around any axis in a close future. I feel Sweet Home 3D would become too complex.
Advanced users may export any object at OBJ format, edit it with a 3D software like Art of Illusion or Blender, then import it again in Sweet Home 3D.
By the way, robertao, you can already rotate the items in the plan by 90 degrees with Home rotator...
