hrm, this happens to me too
Folder properties show 8,372 files , streamsicle only parses 7,651 of them, had this bug for a while, i jus put it down to variable bitrate mp3's but if its a bug would love to know.

i could be wrong here
( i arnt part of the development team)
but that sounds like a buffering problem what rate is the music coded at? i have problems with streamsicle recognising anything over a 192kb mp3 in the playlist. also i have problems with the better quality files like you said appearing as if they were skipping ... dont know wether this is the same problem.
Does your friend...

I have it setup on a DMZ with 3 ppl inside LAN all running off of multiple instances of streamsicle so they have their own stream.
sometimes i open it upto other ppl outside of my network but i have to edit the .m3u file an forward all the needed ports so outsiders can see it.
Its only really mainly used for home use.

I found this too, i use a LAN behind NAT seems that unless you have a direct ethernet connection ( and a static addy) to the internet then streamsicle will seem to take its server address from the local address.
a quick fix could be :
To download the .m3u via your web interface then edit the IP manually with your connected IP instead of the network addy and offer that for people to download.

Damn i do hope this project isnt dead!!
ive been using streamsicle for bout a yr now maybe longer and would like to see more features in it and a couple of bugs ironed out that i have discovered.
Although i'm not really sure if the bugs are streamsicle or jus SGO virus (Slack Git Operator)
I can say its "THE" best Free mp3 server out there i have found that works for my needs...
