For the record, I'm seeing the same problem when playing the file with Xine (xine-0.99.5-1.fc7). When I use mplayer or vlc, the file shows the correct counter and total length. But when I use xine, the counter goes at about 1/4 rate and an hour-long show is reported being 15 minutes long.

In the latest siplcs, the default User Agent string in the account editor is blank. Is this intentional? Is there any other way to check what version of the siplcs plugin is being use?.

I've attached the new log. (The name is not correct - it really covers the period from 10/29 to 10/30) This one also includes some output from the XMPP plugin - hopefully that's not an issue. Thanks for checking.

OK, Thanks for checking. I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't work for me. One thing I noticed is that the URL doesn't appear to be highighted in my contact list, not even from another user that has a URL in their note. (Strangely, his note is displayed correctly by pidgin - it was this note with a URL to his calender that gave me the idea to do the same thing)
The only diffference I can see...

If I understand that correctly then I guess it's a sipe bug:
1) The problem does not occur until I finish typing the text, then hit return.
2) I don't see the problem with XMPP. (It's not exactly the same thing because XMPP doesn't show "me" in my own contact list. However, I've discovered that the sipe problem also shows up on the remote side when the remote user is...

I've pulled in that fix and re-started pidgin - it will take a few days to see if it makes a difference.

I've been experimenting with the recently added (fixed?) capability to update the OCS "note" field and I seem to have problems when the note contains a URL. Anyone else seeing that?
If I include a URL in the note, the contact list becomes "confused" My own name disappears and another name seems to "cover it up" as my own name shows up when I put my mouse...
