It appears that there is serious problem with the design of the
program. According to strace, it seems to scan whole all files under
start location (whole disk including NFS mounts if started at

I solved in trunk.
It seens that problem is that fclose is called without a fopen. I moved fclose to after fopen call.

Hi,
still a problem on moving files.
xfe comes out to be really CPU hungry when moving files. We are talkin
about >50% CPU resources (sometimes ~70%) on a dual PIII; and even Xorg
starts using many cpu cycles.
So I can suppose it's due to the progress bar displayed while moving

determination of file associations is suboptimal in xfe IMHO. First, it
relies on filename extensions which is not the most reliable solution.
Then again, calling "file $file" might not be the time-effective, either
