As Bastiaan, I also have had some problems to compile Rachis.
I have tryed to install Rachis, but no success.
From the first try, I saw in the log file that Rachis needs some apps I did
not have installed, such as some compilers (fortran, etc.) and wxWidgets.
Then, I installed every app for which the log file said "no" (e.g, "Checking
for 'something' .....
