Today I have interesting information for you.
The system was in state I wrote before:
1.0.15-NAPI + "ethtool -A eth0 rx off tx off autoneg off"
And after working with no issue for 12 days + 17:59 it has crashed, deep hang late Saturday, nobody were there, so can't tell if there were any errors visible on screen, I had to power down/up through IPMI.
So, it seems "ethtool -A eth0 rx off...

First, with "ethtool -A eth0 rx off tx off autoneg off"
system is still working for 8 days, 20:43 with no issue.
As of e1000e-1.1.2. didn't tried it yet. Hopefully I would be able to try it early next week.
I see it didn't helped in 2896629, do think it worth trying in my envemenment?.

Just to note that after adding
ethtool -A eth0 rx off tx off autoneg off
system is still working for 63 hours now with no issue. Would wait more to be sure anyway.

I'm experiencing similar issue, opened a bug 2907473 and for some reason made it duplicate of this after what it has became closed.
Can somebody reopen it, or we can continue here?.
